UC Merced's Police Mentor Program is proud to be a part of the Merced County Adopt-A-Highway program.
The Police Mentor Program focuses on quality-of-life issues, which not only include education, but also community beautification. The program's Trailblazers (mentors) pride themselves in leading the way for UC Merced in the community.
Trailblazers dedicate countless hours to be a positive influence for local youth, helping them to get past obstacles that life sets in front of them. Through the Adopt-A-Highway program the UC Merced Department of Public Safety and Trailblazers reaffirm the campus's dedication to the community and help keep the roadway to higher education safe and clear of any debris and litter. It is a privilege and honor to serve the community.
